What Makes a Bradford White Water Heater Better?
The Hydrojet® Total Performance System is a unique feature, exclusive to Bradford White, that reduces sediment, improves performance, and adds years to the life of your water heater. Using a cold water delivery line from the top to the bottom of the tank that is ported along its length allows water to flow out of the tube at different depths. The ports are aligned so that their water flow creates a counter-rotation of the water in the tank.
Stirring up the tank water doesn’t have a chance to settle at the bottom of the tank, which can cause performance issues. The sediment is directed out of the water heater along with the hot water, and what remains will be flushed out during your annual maintenance service.
Bradford White’s Vitraglas® Tank Lining is an exclusive enamel tank lining formulation that offers unprecedented protection from the corrosive effects of water. The lining is further protected by Microban®, an antimicrobial product infused into the glass used to line the tank. Microban® extends the life of your tank by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew on the inside of the tank shell.
